Toni Maticevski Ready-To-Wear S/S 2014/15 collection at Melbourne fashion week was absolutely amazing. The fabrics were full of texture and the colors gave the garments the right feel to it. The pieces were created in a classic silhouette and the perfect tailoring executed complex constructions.
''Twisted, draped and structural designs are underscored by contrasting fabric textures and weights in a soft palette with soft volumes in luxurious chiffons, silks, satins and tulle, creating emphasis and drama.''
And the fashion show finale was most beautiful and the most unexpected part of the whole show, because I never thought that models carrying and hiding their faces with blooming orchids would look so endearing.
I can already see how orchids will be the ''IT'' flower this summer.
