Having the most stressful week of my life!! The amount of work is so overwhelming and the upcoming exams just gives me chills, so this photo which I found on tumblr gave me some inspiration to just relax and take it easy, because at the end everything will be great!!

TRIP TO ITALY

When we finished our boat trip, the first thing we saw getting of this boat, was this garbage can, it was full with broken umbrellas, which I found really funny, because how often do you see view like this?  But I wasn't surprised, the wind was crazy in Venice, it was so hard, that I was literally blown away.

 So yeah, that's how we all looked in Venice, we all were wearing these "amazing" rain coats/gowns, because of the nice weather in Venice!!

So, hey guys, a couple of weeks ago we (me, my friend Julia and my mum) decided to go on a trip to a beautiful country called ITALY. Wuhuu, it's my favorite place were I have been. When I found out that we're 100% going on this trip I was walking on air. My day didn't go as usual, because I was so trilled that I couldn't concentrate on anything or anyone. In my mind I was literally already there.

I had almost 13 when I first visited Italy, and it was so great, that I knew I would come back, and the time had come that I finally was there, like ''bam'' HERE I AM. Now moving on - the first place we went was the stunning and absolutely gorgeous Venice.  It's a great place for tourists, because there are lot's, and lot's of shops, cute cafe's and beautiful architecture. I was so amazed to see these beautiful buildings in real life!!!Not the same watching those building on the Internet. 

Unfortunately Venice on this day wasn't the sunniest place on Earth, but who cares, rain wasn't the obstacle.

  We had such an amazing time!!

ELLIE GOULDING // LIVE

So happy that I finally had the opportunity to see an amazing performer LIVE and that was non other than English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding on her HALCYON tour in Latvia. The tickets for this concert I had for ages so it was pretty unreal going to this concert and actually seeing her. The concert took place in my hometown Riga, at the Palladium Riga concert hall. The place was packed with loads of people in different ages, but after trying to get trough the large crowd I managed to get a solid view. The opening act of Ellie's concert was a young artist from NewYork (USA) called Matthew Koma, which I actually really enjoyed not really knowing his songs. Ellie's performances were amazing despite the bad cough she had, playing a full set like a champ. After experiencing this concert I have a completely different view on her as an artist, so I guess I will have to spare my money and time to go to different kind of live concerts, to fully experience an artist.

HELL YEAH, 1 YEAR!!

Guess what!? it's time, to celebrate our one year anniversary of dropofinkk !!!!

One year ago on the 9th of march we decided to start our blog, where we could share our photos, creations and some daily news. We are sooooo happy how our blog has grown, in so many ways. We apologize for not making enough posts as we should. It's because this year we have some important exams coming up, which is taking our time from posting, but hopefully we will improve making daily posts and more exiting projects. Thats our commitment for the upcoming future.

LATVIAN STYLE AND FASHION AWARDS

Had a great chance to participate in LATVIAN STYLE AND FASHION AWARDS, that took place in Riga's heart "Latvian National Oprah". The ceremony turned out to be a great excuse to dress up and spend some quality time with my friend Julia. 

This was the first time I had attended to an award ceremony. A lot of fashionable and interesting people in one place. And the vibe was so positive and electric. Wish I had brought my camera with me to capture more of the event.
